Going Home, the Black and White Version

Castle Crags, to the west of I-5. Aren't they gorgeous? Castle Crags State Park is nearby, I hope we can camp there some day!! I was so happy to be there at the right time for the shadows!!!
Mt Shasta veiled by clouds. Fresh snow near Mt Ashland.

Oak trees made sacred by their globes of mistletoe(by ancient Celtic legend). North of Medford.

And that's the end of it!

Just catching up on your photo journal of your spring fling~

You have really shown the stark contrast that one feels, when stepping out from the comfort zone, to enter the world where the other 5/8's live.

everytime I go away, I come home feeling like I want to become a hermit.

ps..if you really want some handspun yarn, email me, I will send samples and you can pick!

Hi Cyndy! Yeah, seems like 5/8's is more like 7/8's! It is good to go to the "other side" once in a while, you learn more about why you think te way you do, and reinforce your "Thoreauvian deliberations". Outside of visiting family, our vacation time is spent further back in the woods ;0).
