Air, part 2

This week's theme for Good Planet is "air". How can one take a picture of air? We see air as what is not-there. I chose clouds, because they are elements of air that come together and move apart, absorb light, reveal mass of molecules with shadows--air becoming visible as it dances between the influences of high and low pressure. So here are some photos of just clouds, all from the past month or so.

Nice skies! Some of them remind me of Maxfield Parrish paintings.

Nice cloud photos! It's harder to get good cloud shots than one might think.

Hi y'all! how did you know Bev? I'm taking pix of clouds so I can someday make some watercolor paintings of them. I'm also experimenting to see how to make good black and white pix--clouds seem to be an important element of good landscape shots. Thansk for visiting!
